Alert destinations

Alert destinations are the channels HostRepute can use when monitoring results match your alert rules.

Destinations can be active or inactive and are associated with contact groups.

Contact groups

Contact groups define who receives notifications and when they should be delivered. They include a timezone and schedule configuration.

Use contact groups to keep urgent production alerts separate from lower-priority operational updates.

Custom webhooks

Custom webhook alerts can route reputation events into internal tools, incident workflows, or automation systems.

The public API also supports signed callback URLs for asynchronous blacklist and certificate checks.
